Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect at my first F3 workout?

You will be greeted with a hero's welcome when you come to your first F3 workout. You will follow along with the rest of the group as the leader (known as the Q) leads the workout. The exercises have different names than you may be used to hearing (Jumping Jacks are known as Side Straddle Hops) but you will quickly catch on to the lingo.

The members of the group will make sure that you are included. We do not leave any man behind.

Every F3 guy is given a nickname. You will be known as FNG (Friendly New Guy) for the first workout but you will receive a F3 name at the end of the workout. You will be asked to share a little bit about yourself (hobbies, work, favorite foods, etc) and the leader, with help from the group, will give you a name.

Is F3 a religious group?

F3 is not affiliated with a religion or religious group. The third F in F3 stands for faith where faith is belief in someone or something beyond ourselves. In F3, faith is lived out by serving one another and serving our communities.

Do I need to get in shape before attending a F3 workout?

You do not have to be in shape before attending a F3 workout. The best decision you can make is to show up to a F3 workout and start engaging in the fitness. We like to say, "The workouts do not get easier but you will get stronger." Strength will come as you dedicate yourself to the workouts. The group will encourage you as you get started with exercising or exercising again.
